Chinandega, Nicaragua:  We make semi-regular trips to the Chinandega area in Central Nicaragua to get some rest and relaxation in a luxurious health spa. Kidding.  Kidding.

We go there to work like rented mules building houses and schools, digging latrines, planting trees, and doing whatever else those slave drivers from Amigos for Christ, our favorite charity, tell us to do.  I have a couple thousand photos that I've intended to post for the last four years and never got around to it but this time I'm really going to do it.  Seriously. I'm going to do it.  In fact, a few photos from our last trip are posted here.

Until I get around to posting more photos--and I will get around to it--and posting more information about what we do down there, you can read Rachel's blog to see what's new in "the Ville" (Villa Catalina).  She's a hip and cool missionary working for Amigos that we help out by defraying a little bit of her living expenses.  We pretty fond of that girl--she's a little off kilter just like us.
